Don't be duped by CBD

With all the schemes and snake oil salesman out there, it's good to know a little bit of information before dropping dollars on the newest CBD tonic or iced T.

While appearing to be nothing more than a clever arrangement of Carbon, Hydrogen, and Oxygen, this little molecule has some pretty amazing powers of homeostasis. When the Endocannabinoid system was discovered in the 1990's, it unlocked a whole new level of understanding for how the body self regulates. From our respiration, to temperature and digestion, the endocannabinoid system is a key messenger telling the brain what's going on in the body.

It was discovered that these endocannabinoids would act on various systems of the body that are linked to homeostasis. They act like the fulcrums of a mobile; they help keep everything in balance across several systems throughout the body. Taking in CBD from hemp is totally legal in the US of A. It has zero psychoactive effect and won't make you feel high or paranoid, like Marijuana might. Many find it can aid in immune system function, stress relief, anxiety, pain relief and sleeplessness.

In order for you to reap the benefits of the CBD you are taking, it's got to make it past the bodies chemical plant, the liver. Wouldn't you know, the liver eats up most of the CBD that it comes across. Out of 20 mg, you might end up with 1 in your system if you are lucky. Always apply CBD topically using a creme or lotion, or use a tincture and let it soak in under your tongue for a bit. This way, the CBD can bypass the liver and do it's job!

Skip the expensive CBD beverages and gummies. Go for under the tongue or topical.
